When I was job hunting, I was looking for a job that was worth dedicating my life to. I decided to join RENOVA, attracted to its vision of contributing to the environment by creating new projects. I have worked for the company for more than ten years. I have experienced the development of many projects, investigations, and other tasks. At present, I work as the deputy head of Engineering. I strive to enable team members to make the most of themselves in a cross-sectoral organization.

RENOVA’s job is to create new projects. Renewable energy business operators must continuously venture forward into unknown projects. This is what gives our engineers opportunities to work on diverse tasks inside and outside their areas of expertise. All of our employees like to tackle new issues.
In the process of creating a project, we are involved with many stakeholders. People in general may have an impression that engineers work with objects or products and struggle with data. However, RENOVA’s engineers are a bit different. We develop and advance major projects across Japan, which involves us with local residents and government officials, not to mention people from other companies, such as construction firms, research firms, and financial institutions. We need to explain to them the significance and benefits of each project through our technological background. To put it another way, it is only when we as engineers interact with diverse people that we can savor the moment when life is given to our knowledge and technologies. I believe that engineers from other companies are unlikely to have these experiences. It is a unique appeal of working for RENOVA as an engineer.

The renewable energy industry will continue to grow. We have to start many things from scratch, not to mention having to work on individual projects. Therefore, we cannot see a clear answer in many cases. It is because of this that we find our jobs so rewarding and feel a great sense of fulfillment when we overcome an issue. I am sure of this. I would like to turn RENOVA into a leading company working in the vanguard of the industry. I would also like to make it a company that attracts even more first-class engineers. For this, I want to contribute to creating an environment that enables enthusiastic engineers to achieve personal growth through friendly competition while also working together as one team.
