Fourth-year students from the Department of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture, Iwate University, who are working on the theme of “Renewable Energy and Conservation of Forest’s Public Interest Functions,” visited Karumai West and East Solar Power Plants.
They asked questions such as, “What is the impact of frost on solar power plants? ”

” What types of trees are being planted?”,

and other questions related to forest conservation, and we talked about our efforts in cooperation with the local community and our concern for the natural environment.
The information gained from this visit will be reflected in the report assigned for the university class.
