An environmental study meeting held at Millet Park Solar House in Karumai town!
A total of 60 first- and second-year students from Karumai High School visited Millet Park Solar House and participated in an environmental study meeting on solar power generation.
This study meeting was conducted by the Karumai town as part of its “Promotion of the Attractiveness of High Schools” activities. The purpose of the study meeting is to spread the local history, climate, and industry, hence, to help them picture the future of working in the community to support the town.
A staff member from RENOVA acted as a lecturer and explained the mechanism of solar power generation and the outline of Karumai West and East Solar Power Plant, while every student listened intently. In the questionnaire after the study meeting, we were glad to receive very positive comments such as “I have deepened my understanding of solar power generation and renewable energy” and “I found out that the town of Karumai is doing a great job.”
RENOVA would like to continue being proactive in engaging in such programs.
Who knows! From among these students, one might aim for an occupation related to renewable energy industry in the future!
