Continuing from last year, one of our employees on loan to Karatsu Biomass participated as a lecturer in the”Let’s Listen to Professionals” event hosted by Saga Nishi Senior High School in Saga Prefecture.

First-year students at Saga Nishi High School are involved in a research activity on social issues based on the SDGs,and students interested in energy and environmental issues participate in this activity.

This year was the third time for us to cooperate in this activity, and we gave a lecture on renewable energy and theKaratsu Biomass Power Plant.

After the lecture, we received comments from students such as “I became more interested in environmental issues” and”I could understand that people with various knowledge are working on environmental issues through teamwork.
