The 1st Community Exchange Autumn Festival held at the Karatsu Biomass
The “1st Community Exchange Autumn Festival” was held on Nov 20th at the Karatsu Biomass Power Plant, which is currently under construction in the Sashi area of Karatsu City, for community exchange where local residents could gather outdoors.
Blessed with fine weather, a total of approximately 1,000 people attended the event. The special stage performances were presented by the Sashi Elementary School, Sashi Junior High School brass bands and other local clubs, and the entire venue was filled with 22 groups setting up booths and stores, making it a lively autumn day filled with music, singing, and cheers.
Recognizing that our power generation business is entrusted with precious local resources, our philosophy in promoting our business is to build relationships of coexistence and prosperity with the local communities. The Karatsu Biomass Power Plant will continue to proactively create opportunities for local interaction, aiming to be a power plant that contributes to the development of local activities, history, and culture.
