On July 4, a groundbreaking ceremony was held at the Karatsu Biomass construction site.
The morning of the day was cloudy due to a typhoon approaching the Kyushu region, but by the time the ceremony began, the weather had recovered and all concerned prayed for the safety of the construction work under blue skies.
The project is scheduled to start operation in December 2024.
