January 2019: The site, which faces onto Suonada sound (part of the Seto Inland Sea) is conveniently located in close vicinity to Kitakyushu Airport. We will continue to report on the construction of the Kanda Biomass power plant as it progresses steadily towards commencing operation as scheduled, in June 2021.

On site, work driving of piles for the foundations of the plant is currently underway.
