Participated in the “Ishinomaki Harbor Thanksgiving Day”
Continuing from last year, we set up a booth at the Ishinomaki Harbor Thanksgiving Day (hosted by Ishinomaki City) and conducted a tour of the power plant for those who wished to participate.

This event, now in its 23rd year, aims to promote the role that Ishinomaki Port plays in the local economy and as a base for industrial activities, and to raise awareness of the importance of the port. We recruited people who wanted to visit the power plant at the exhibition booth, and about 60 people came to the power plant by bus.
It was a good opportunity to learn about the mechanism of biomass power generation and how the largest biomass power plant in Japan, which can supply electricity for about 170,000 households, is operated.
