At the Miyagi Prefecture High School Science Research Society Science Experiment Group Autumn General Meeting held at Ishinomaki Kobunkan High School, one of our employees gave a lecture on the biomass power generation business.

This research society is made up of teachers and other staff in Miyagi Prefecture who are in charge of science, and it carries out various activities to promote science education in Miyagi Prefecture.

The lecture began with an overview of the Ishinomaki Hibarino Biomass Power Plant, and then went on to cover topics such as the positioning of biomass power generation in the field of renewable energy and its potential as a measure against climate change and its potential as a measure against climate change, followed by a tour of the power plant.

After the event, the participating teachers and staff commented that they had gained a better understanding of biomass power generation projects and that they now had a better awareness of the environmentally-conscious management of the plant, including the introduction of air-cooled condensers.
