The CO2 emissions of the battery-powered 3-ton forklift trucks used in the power plant have been nullified by utilizing the “J-Credit System”.

Under this system, the government certifies greenhouse gas emissions reduced or absorbed through corporate and municipal initiatives, such as the installation of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as “credits” that can be purchased and sold. This will result in a reduction of 2 t CO2 emissions per year.
