On March 11, we held an evacuation drill in preparation for a tsunami.

Ishinomaki City recommends evacuation on foot, based on the lesson from the Great East Japan Earthquake 10 years ago,

when evacuation by car caused traffic congestion and many people were delayed.

In the training, we ensured the safety of on-site workers in the event of an earthquake, confirmed evacuation routes, confirmed their safety, etc.,and all the workers silently prayed at 14:46, the time of the earthquake.

Volunteers also participated in the “Great East Japan Earthquake Memorial 3.11 Gathering” held at a park near the power plant construction site.
