On November 22, Akita Green Service, which supplies the wood chips used as fuel for the Akita Biomass Power Plant, held a tree-planting event to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Around 30 people involved with the Akita Biomass Power Plant, including our company, gathered together and divided into teams to plant commemorative Akita cedar trees in designated areas.

It is said that it takes about 30 years for the trees to grow into magnificent Akita cedars.
